Chance & Chelsea Yankie

The Yankies first came to Cottonwood Thanksgiving of 1996 and their hearts were immediately joined with the rest of the body. As a matter of fact the next summer, 1997, they both interned with the Youth Ministry Department. Chance stayed on throughout the school year and the following summer. From 1999–2001, Chance & Chelsea were on staff with Young Life, and in the summer of 2001 Chance came on staff with Cottonwood as the full time Youth Pastor.

Chance & Chelsea have been married since January 1, 2000. They are the proud parents of Samuel Chayce, born 10/23/02, Elizabeth Brianna, born 7/21/04, Alexis Grace, born 12/06/06, and Mackenzie Faith, born 3/11/09.

Chelsea is a full time mom, and is active in ministry along side her husband.
