Finding Strength to Endure!
Psalm 22

David Wrote It, Jesus Spoke It, We've all Felt It!

Words of the Cross:

Psalms 22:1 My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.

Mark 15:34 At the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, "ELOI, ELOI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?" which is translated, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"

Psalms 22:7 All who see me sneer at me; They separate with the lip, they wag the head...

Mark 15:29 Those passing by were hurling abuse at Him, wagging their heads, and saying, "Ha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, 30 save Yourself, and come down from the cross!" 31 In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes, were mocking Him among themselves and saying, " He saved others; He cannot save Himself. 32 "Let this Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe!" Those who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him.

Psalms 22:8 " Commit yourself to the LORD; let Him deliver him; Let Him rescue him, because He delights in him."

Matthew 27:42-43 He saved others; He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him. 43 "HE TRUSTS IN GOD; LET GOD RESCUE Him now, IF HE DELIGHTS IN HIM; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'"

Psalms 22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, And my tongue cleaves to my jaws; And You lay me in the dust of death.

John 19:28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, to fulfill the Scripture, said, " I am thirsty."

Psalms 22:18 They divide my garments among them, And for my clothing they cast lots.

Matthew 27:35 And when they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments among themselves by casting lots.

1 Samuel 30:1-10!

1. Confess His Holiness! Praise Him!
2. Trust In the Lord! You Are Not Forsaken!

Hebrews 13:5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, " I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,"

Psalms 37:28 For the LORD loves justice And does not forsake His godly ones; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked will be cut off.

1 Samuel 12:22 "For the LORD will not abandon His people on account of His great name, because the LORD has been pleased to make you a people for Himself."
