Resources That Devastate the Enemy!
Mike Fritscher

Joshua 1:1-9

Numbers 13:27-33 – “A Land that Devours Its Inhabitants!”

1 Peter 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

The Power of Faith! Hebrews 11:32 And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for theweapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. 5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience!

What are the Resources that Devastate the Enemy?

  • 1. God and His Presence! “I am With You!”

The Promise to Joshua – Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you! Joshua, the servant the assistant of Moses! The general of the armies of God Saw! He saw what it meant for God to be with someone else! He saw God with Moses! And Now the Promise: “God with Joshua” And that means, God with His people! The mark of the Believer! The Mark of god’s man, God’s woman is the obvious presence of God!

  • Distinguished From the Rest of the World! Exodus 33:12-16
  • Strengthened to Accomplish His Will! Isaiah 41:10-14

2 Timothy 4:16 At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; may it not be counted against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion's mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Deuteronomy 4:5-8

  • 2. God and His Word! The Promise of Success!

Obedience to the Word:

  • A Sure Foundation - A Certain Future! Matthew 7:24-27
  • Equipped For Every God Work! 2 Timothy 3;14-17
  • A Blessed Life – A Sweet Disposition! Psalm 19

Isaiah 30:21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, " This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left. 22 And you will defile your graven images overlaid with silver, and your molten images plated with gold. You will scatter them as an impure thing, and say to them, " Be gone!"

And God would fulfill every promise!

Joshua 21:43 So the Lord gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they possessed it and lived in it. 44 And the Lord gave them rest on every side, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers, and no one of all their enemies stood before them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hand. 45 Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass.
