The Power of the Resurrection! Ephesians 1:18-2:1-10

1. This Power Raised Jesus From the Dead! Ephesians 1:18-23

Matthew 27:50-54

1 Corinthians 15:14 and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain. 15 Moreover we are even found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if in fact the dead are not raised.

Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;

Believe Him! Our Faith Rests on the Resurrection of Christ!

2. This Power Raises You From the Dead in This Life! Ephesians 2:1-10

It’s Believing the Word of God!

• Believe This Yourself!

Romans 4:17-22 In the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist. 18 In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, "SO SHALL YOUR DESCENDANTS BE." 19 Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah's womb; 20 yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

• Your Good Works Reflects Christ!
• You’re Good Works Blesses the Saints and the World!
• Your Good Works Glorify the Father!

Matthew 5: 16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Turn to Titus 2:7; 2:14; 3:1; 3:8; 3:14

• Believe the Power of the Resurrection for Others!

• 1. The Word to Dead Corpses! Ezekiel 37:1-14

• 2. The Word to Martha! John 11:11-45

What This Resurrected Christ Is Doing this Very Hour!!

• Interceding!

Hebrews 7:25 Hence, also, He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

• Preparing!

  b. A Place - John 14:1-3

• Reigning as Lord!

3. This Power Will Raise You From the Dead For Eternal Life!

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice ofthe archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
