Sin, No Longer Your Master!

The Promise of the Deliverer! Sin Shall Not Be Master Over You! Romans 6:1-14

Genesis 3:15 And I will put Hostility Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall crush you on the head, And you shall wound him on the heel."

Romans 16:19 For the report of your obedience has reached to all; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil. 20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

The Greatness of These Verses Is Manifold!

1. Jesus Overcame the Enemy!

2. Christ is Your Deliverer! The Promise of Your Victory!

3. The Victory Is Found in the Removal of Ungodliness and A Taking Away of Sins!

Romans 11:26 THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." 27 "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

John 8:31-38 – Free Indeed!

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.

Romans 8:1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

4. The Enemy’s Days Are Numbered!

5. Spiritual Warfare is A Reality!

6. God Makes Us Recipients and Participants In this Hostility!

The Warning and Promise to Cain!

Genesis 4:6-8 Then the Lord said to Cain, " Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 " If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it."

Romans6:14 For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Isaiah 1:2 "An ox knows its owner, And a donkey its master's manger, But Israel does not know, My people do not understand."

Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him —

Psalm 119:133 Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any iniquity have dominion over me.

Believe!
