A Way of Escape to Freedom -
The Way to Life!

1 Corinthians 10:1-13

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

Genesis 4:1-8 – What God Offered Cain, He Offers You!

• An Appeal to Your Conscience!

• Offers the Way of Escape to Freedom – The Way of Life! Deuteronomy 30:15-20

• Sin Desires You And Is Crouching at the Door!
• Jesus Wants You And Knocks at the Door to Come In!

• A Difficult, Yet Attainable Proposition!

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not be master over you , for you are not under law but under grace.

The Way of Escape to Freedom – The Way of Life!

1. We Believe! Abel’s Offering Came By Faith!

Hebrews 11:1-6

• We Believe And Are Approved By God!

• We Believe and Extinguish the Darts of the Enemy!

Ephesians 6:16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

• We Believe And Overcome the World!

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith.

1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.

2 . We Love! Cain Killed His Brother Because He Did Not Love!

1 John 3:11 For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another; 12 not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother's were righteous.

• Love Covers A Multitude of Sins!

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.

• Loving God and Neighbor Covers Everything!

Matthew 22:37 And He said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 "This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 "The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."

Matt 22:37 Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' 38 This is the most important, the first on any list. 39 But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' 40 These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them."
