Luke 5:1-11 II. As to Humility – Always Be Ready to Confess Your Weakness, Your Sinfulness, Your Struggle! And make sure you are not thinking too highly of Yourself! What does this posture of Humility do for the Kingdom? 1 Peter 5:5 and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE. 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. |
