Jonah & the Relentless Mission of God!

Luke 19:9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

1 Timothy 1:15 It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.

God’s Mission – To Seek and to Save Which is Lost!

God’s Instrument for This Mission – Christ and Christ in the Life of Every Believer!

Luke 5:14 – Do not fear for from now on You will be catching men!

Matthew 9:38 – Beseech the Lord of the Harvest to Send Out Workers!

Jonah 1:1-11

1. When God Visit’s You, Just Be Ready for An Invitation!

Acts 1:8 – Is a powerful reminder of that! You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you shall be my witnesses. . .

2. When God Instructs – Just Move With Him! Just Do It!

See What Jesus Sees! Sheep without a Shepherd!

3. God Will Accomplish His Mission! And Arranges the Situations of Our Lives to Fulfill His Mission! So Just Accept It!

4. Consider the Mess You Find Yourself In a Result of Refusing the Invitations of God!

Chapter 3 – Nineveh Says Yes to the Invitation!

Chapter 4 – God Deals With Jonah’s Attitude of Prejudice!

5. God’s Way Is Compassion! Follow Him!

    • Are You willing to Admit Your Grumblings Are Petty?
    • Are You Willing to admit that Your comfort is more important than the Mission of God?
    • Will You Believe that God is Compassionate and that’s What He Invites You to?
    • Are You willing to see your circumstances as God’s Arrangements to expose your heart, see your ways to see God’s Mission for Your life and the lives He is sending you to?
    • How will Your Ending Be?
